4 barrels selected from our 30 year old vines. In half the barrels Malolactic fermentation is allowed to finish giving a richness and butteriness to the blend, then aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months. "Toasty oak and citrus aromas with lush, flavorful nectarine, grapefruit and toasted hazelnut in the mouth. Still focused and pleasant tartness in the finish". A rich flavorful chardonnay in the style of Napa's best. |
